The City of Hofu provides a range of services, such as maintenance of roads and parks, garbage collection, firefighting and emergency service to sustain your daily lives. To undertake such work, the “municipal taxes” you pay to the city are needed. This guide has been created so that foreign residents of Hofu can easily understand about the “municipal taxes” and pay their taxes correctly.
