第1回セルビア杯バレーボール大会を開催しました

Kirin Lemon Stadium Salt Arena’s First Serbian Cup Volleyball Tournament 

10月10日（土曜日）に、キリンレモンスタジアムソルトアリーナ防府において、第1回セルビア杯バレーボール大会を開催しました。これは、市内中学校バレーボール部の1、2年生が新チームで挑む初めての大会で、市がホストタウンとして応援しているセルビアチームのような強いチームになることを目標に、バレーボールを頑張ってもらいたい、という願いを込めて開催するものです。

The 1st Serbian Cup U14 Volleyball Tournament was held at Kirin Lemon Stadium Salt Arena on October 10th. It was held with the hope that the skills and the teamwork would be improved like the Serbian national team.

記念すべき第1回の開催にあたり、セルビア女子バレーボール代表チームのエース、ブランキッツァ・ミハイロビッチ選手から、大会に出場する中学生の皆さんへの応援メッセージ動画が届きました。動画は、開会式で放映されました。

Brankica Mihajlović, one of the star players in Serbian national team, sent us a memorial message of encouragement for the first tournament and we watched it in the opening ceremony.

※ミハイロビッチ選手は、2016年リオ五輪銀メダル、2018年世界選手権優勝のメンバーで、東京オリンピックでもエースとして活躍が期待されています。
2018年にソルトアリーナで実施した事前合宿にも参加され、迫力あるプレーで多くの市民を魅了しました。

Brankica Mihajlović was the silver medalist at the Rio 2016 Olympic games and she got the gold medal at the World Tournament in 2018. She is expected to win the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She visited Hofu in 2018 to participate in the pre-camp and she fascinated the public with her powerful play . 

優勝チームには、セルビア大使館臨時代理大使から賞状、セルビア国旗カラーのトロフィが授与されました。
男子優勝は高川学園中学校、女子優勝は防府市立国府中学校でした。

The boy’s winning team of the tournament is Takagawa Gakuen Jhs, and Kokufu Jhs won the girl’s tournament. Temporary Ambassador of the Serbian Embassy presented a certificate and a trophy which uses the Serbian flag color, red, blue and white. 

大会後は、男女優勝チームからセルビア女子バレーボールチームへ、東京オリンピックでの金メダル獲得に向けた応援メッセージを送りました。
